RS 8.5 g/l. Screwcap! Tingling. Delicate, chalky, pings and zings. Lime and apricot, syrup-on-stones, silk ribbons wrapped deftly around honeysuckle florals. Oranges and so much fruit that it tastes almost like an off-dry Riesling. Handles chilli heat and lime and steak very very well. (Also good with the orange and feta lentil dish.) This is an intense, gorgeous, succulent wine that is different from most Vouvrays of this intensity in that it has a lightness, a slender raciness, as if it’s a lovechild of the Mosel and Vouvray.
